Amanda Kukla

Mid Atlantic Regional Rep

Amanda joined the Vespoli team in June 2003. She began rowing as an undergrad at the University of Delaware. She went on to coach at Wilmington Youth Rowing Association, the Ursuline Academy swim program, Delaware Men’s Rowing club, and then Temple University as a graduate assistant where she earned her Master’s Degree in sports management and leisure studies. After grad school, Amanda became the inaugural head coach of the University of Delaware Varsity Women’s Rowing team, leading them to a team championship in 2001 after just 5 years as an established program.

A lifetime resident of the Mid-Atlantic Region, Amanda knows the needs of the rowing community here. She has effectively assisted all levels of rowing programs, from start-up clubs to established competitive programs, each with their own unique equipment and service needs. Amanda can be found throughout the region, visiting boathouses, providing support at regattas, setting up demo’s, and being the go-to person for questions in any circumstance.

Amanda resides in Maple Glen, PA with her husband Stu, Head coach of Central Bucks Swim Team, and two sons.
