The University of Chicago Crew Club is looking to fill open coaching positions for the 2008-2009 season. We have a growing club of 40+ rowers, and are expecting to grow significantly over the next year. As a club team, we work hard at recruitment and retention to build fast boats and solid squads. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and committed to building a faster team.

Qualifications:
-Rowing experience
-Coaching experience is preferred but not required
-Passion and love for rowing fast

Basic Responsibilities
- Prepare and attend practices
- Coordinate racing and practice schedules with other coaches and the board

Walt Whitman HS in Bethesda, MD is selling a black 2003 M2 8+ with black Euro riggers. The boat is in good racing condition. A 2004 Vespoli DL M2 8+, serial number VUABF130D404. The shell was purchased new by Leon Crew in 2004. Leon and Tallahassee Area Crew merged this past year to form Capital City Rowing. Structurally, the shell is in excellent shape. All seats, footstretchers, and tracks are in great shape. There is the usual dock chatter associated with a 4 year old boat, all superficial. The Haddonfield High School Crew is seeking to expand its coaching staff by adding several Assistant Coaches. The number of athletes in our program is growing and our coaching staff needs to do the same.

Prior coaching experience is not necessary but would be preferred. Candidates should be mature experienced rowers and demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to teaching and team.

I'm a poor high school student in New Hampshire who would like to, with two or three other rowers, acquire a double or a pair in decent condition (read: it must float on its own, and it's quite useful if riggers are included...) that can be picked up somewhere around the Northeast area, or perhaps delivered. Competitive club rowing program looking for coaching assistance in Novice Men/Women as well as Varsity Men/Women squads. Part time employment, will be one of four coaches for team of 40-50. Stony Brook competes in regattas such as Head of the Charles, Knecht Cup, NYS Rowing Championships, and Dad Vail (10 races/year), and qualifies for ECAC Championships as Division I program.

Coach should be experienced, able to attend early morning practice until 8 AM, and currently located in Suffolk County on Long Island. Pay to be negotiated.
