This is a 9 month part-time appointment beginning August 23, 2008. Murray State University is a public institution founded in 1922 with 10,000 students located in Murray, KY in Western Kentucky. The rowing program was founded in 1996 and rows on Kentucky Lake. QUALIFICATIONS - Collegiate or High School coaching experience or Collegiate rowing experience - Candidate will be passionate about assisting individuals attaining their academic and athletic goals. - A Valid driver’s license and background check are required. RESPONSIBILITIES - Coaching either the varsity or freshman squad of a Division I intercollegiate rowing program - Participate in recruiting activities, administration, instruction and development of student athletes STIPEND $6,750. Assistance with housing & additional employment possible. Review of applications to begin March 3, 2008, and will continue until the position is filled.
