Dave Trond was appointed President of Vespoli USA in August of 2004 by founder and CEO, Mike Vespoli.

Dave began his career at Vespoli as the company's first sales & service representative in 1991. During his tenure Dave established Vespoli USA as the #1 service provider in the industry. Dave has expanded his sales and service team to meet the demands of our rapidly expanding sport. He added four full time regional representatives who are constantly on the move attending regattas, visiting boathouses and providing support for all rowers.

"Dave was a successful coach when I hired him 13 years ago and has proven to be a successful manager. He is univerisally repected throughout the rowing community and by the boat builders in our factory. I felt it was absloutely imperative to pepare Vespoli USA for the next generation by handing the reins over to a leader who shares my vision of service to the rowing community as well as my desire to build the fastest racing shells. That leader, is Dave Trond." says Mike Vespoli.

Dave began his rowing career at the US Coast Guard Academy and was a meber of the 1981 Dad Vail Championship crew. After college he worked at the Newport New shipyard before moving into coaching. He coached the UMass Men's Crew for 5 years before joining Vespoli USA.
