The V1 model  E hull Eight is our premier boat. The V1 model is 100% PrePreg Uni-directional Carbon Fiber and Nomex Honeycomb for maximum stiffness and durability. Extra layers of higher stiffness carbon fiber are added to the E hull to create a an ultra-dense exterior "Rhino" skin for the greatest impact resistance.  Also, thicker sections of honeycomb and higher modulus carbon fiber eliminate the need for ribs which improves the boat's performance and affords the crew more interior room. The boat is cured at 250 degrees F ensuring long term stiffness and allows painting the boat in any color with NO effect from sun or high heat.

The story behind the E hull: The V1 is VESPOLI's newest model of high speed eight oared "E" hulls, and comes in 4 sizes: S,M, L & XL. Each Size Specific hull shape was individually designed by Manolo Ruiz de Elvira, design team member for the victorious America's Cup yacht Alingi in 2007 and 2003.

 Manolo began our racing shell project in 2004 by digitizing 8 of the world's most popular hulls including Vespoli hulls, Empacher, Resolute, Hudson and Pocock. Because of Manolo's access to the latest and most powerful and proprietary hydrodynamic computer programs he was able to create faster and more stable hull designs each with significantly less wetted surface than our competitors. Each E hull was computer modeled to optimize hull length and stability against wetted surface and drag. The V1 hulls were optimized at five different points of the stroke to create near perfect trim and displacement. He compared his findings with the baseline hull data and in every size. The V1 E hulls are more than 1 length faster than the competition. If the science and the research doesn't convince you the outstanding results will like the sweep of the 2007 NCAA's.
