This past weekend, at opposite ends of the continental USA, crews raced to victory in Vespoli E hulls in major championships.  Congratulations to all the participants.

At the NCAA’s in Sacramento, Yale won the V8 and also set a course record for women’s eights on Lake Natoma.   This is Coach Will Porter’s 4th NCAA victory-all in Vespoli V1’s.   On the Div III level Williams’ rules!  Coach Justin Moore made it a complete team victory by finishing 1st & 3rd racing in Vespoli M2’s.

In Saratoga, NY an amazing 14 events were won in Vespoli shells.  Having won already won the Stotesbury cup events there were great repeat victory performances by St. Joseph’s Prep, Mount St. Joseph’s, and Egg Harbor Township in Varsity 8’s and 4’s (boys and girls).  Congrats to SRA champions in Vespoli boats:  Canisius, TC Williams, Manhasset, Iona Prep, Our Lady of Lourdes & Ridgewood.
