Congratulations to the US Junior Women’s Eight and Four for winning silver medals at the 2010 World Rowing Championships. The event is being held in the Czech Republic in a location about an hour outside of Prague. The US Junior Women have won 4 consecutive medals starting in 2007 (2 Gold and 2 Silver) in the eight, and now in 2010, won a silver in the Women’s Four for the first time ever! Winning two medals shows the depth and talent of the rowers and the quality of coaching. Coach Justin Moore and his assistants, Liz Trond and Kate Maloney have once again, done a fantastic job! Vespoli is the proud sponsor of the Junior Women’s Sweep equipment. Row the Rhino! BTW:The women’s eight was raced one day earlier to accomodate the Russian team which apparently mis-booked their return flight.
